The QA Résumé That Gets Interviews (For Real)

Lead with outcomes, not duties.

Bad: "Wrote test cases for web app." Good: "Designed 120+ regression test cases covering checkout; cut release escapes by 40%."

Six bullets to include:

1. Quantified bug-find rate or release-escape reduction.
2. Specific tools used (Selenium, Playwright, Postman, Jira) — exact spellings.
3. Automation coverage percentage with the framework named.
4. A CI/CD pipeline you contributed to.
5. A cross-functional collaboration story (dev, product, support).
6. A portfolio link with at least one public test repo.

Delete: "team player," "detail oriented," "passionate about quality." Every résumé says it.
